How it all started with Diana
The Furry Godmother Pet Sitting was created by Diana McLaughlin in 2004 to provide an alternative to boarding our pets when away from home. Unfamiliar facilities or homes can be stressful for pets and the pet parents. Diana's lifelong love for all critters furry, feathered, and scaly is truly a part of who she is and shaped this business from the beginning. After 13 years in business establishing a great reputation in the community, she was able to retire by handing the business over to a trusted pet caregiver.
So continued with Bryan
After working along-side Diana, Bryan Emel took over fulltime in 2018. Bryan maintained the integrity of the business by insuring the emphasis always be on the love and bonding relationships we form. He understood the importance of being professional, reliable, and knowledgeable in the care we provide.
Then Ceilia joined the team
In 2020 Ceilia Sheridan joined Bryan in pet sitting for The Furry Godmother. Together they continued what Diana had started by providing quality pet care with personal connections to all of our pet parents and Furry Godchildren. The pets we care for truly are treated like a part of our own family.
And Ceilia took over
After dedicating six years to pet care with The Furry Godmother, Brian decided to start a new chapter in his fairy tale, and so Ceilia accepted the title of The Furry Godmother in January of 2023. Creating a safe, loving, personalized care for pets of all kinds and sizes will always be the focus of the business. We acknowledge that our most valuable assets are the loving bonds formed.
